“Partridge Family” Actor Charged with DUI

WIS News 10 reported that teen heartthrob David Cassidy was charged with driving under the influence in Florida last week.

Officers stopped David Cassidy at approximately 6PM on Wednesday afternoon after they witnessed his vehicle swerving.

Cassidy informed officers that he had consumed one glass of wine at lunch and taken a pain pill later in the afternoon. However, officers reported that a half-empty bottle of bourbon was located in the backseat.

The Florida Highway Patrol indicated that Cassidy failed a field sobriety test and two breathalyzer tests. Cassidy was taken to jail and released on Thursday.

Mr. Cassidy is innocent until he is proven guilty.
