Amy lives in Spartanburg, SC with her husband, Charlie, and their two boys, Chap & Gabe. She earned a degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina in Spartanburg in 1995 and a Juris Doctor degree from University of South Carolina School of Law in 2001.
While at USC Law, Amy served as vice president of the Student Bar Association and wrote for the South Carolina Environmental Law Journal. As a member of the Moot Court Bar, she was captain of the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition Team, trained against Assistant United States Attorneys at the Ernest F. Hollings National Advocacy Center, and won the J. Woodrow Lewis Moot Court Competition before the South Carolina Supreme Court. She was inducted into The Order of Barristers and the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court.
Amy has worked with Strom Law Firm since 2006. Her practice is primarily focused on complex civil cases and class actions, both in South Carolina and multidistrict litigation throughout the country, in the areas of antitrust, consumer protection, and product liability. She also works on matters involving medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, premises liability, personal injury, and social security disability.
