If you’re injured at work, the first thing you need to do is report it to your supervisor. Let somebody know that you’ve been hurt. The employer has workers’ compensation insurance that covers on the job injuries and they paid for that for the benefit of their employees. In South Carolina, the law is designed to protect injured workers, even if the injury is their own fault or not.
