South Carolina Criminal Charges in the News
The main suspect in the Maedrine Street shooting on September 10th has been found in Mississippi, and is returning to South Carolina to face criminal charges of murder and attempted murder.
Terrance Shawan Johnson, one of the two shooters, arranged with his mother, sister, and cousin to flee to Mississippi a few days after he and the other shooter, Rodney Jermaine Glover, burst into a private residence on Maedrine Street and opened fire. Three men were inside the home, and one was killed.
Glover has been arrested and charged two counts of attempted murder, and bail has been denied. Another suspect, Tyrone D. Fairey, was charged with two counts of accessory to murder, for providing Glover with directions to the home. He has been released on $100,000 bail.
