Stryker Orthopaedics has recalled two of its hip implant models because the devices are “fretting and deteriorating” that could trigger severe pain, inflammation and other complications. The recall includes the Styker’s Rejuvenate Modular and ABGII modular-neck stem models.

These devices have a femoral stem and femoral head ball connection that are both made of metal.
